The HinSchG protects all persons who become aware of wrongdoing in a company or other organization in the course of their work.

// Who must introduce a whistleblower system?

All companies with more than 50 employees are affected by the law. These companies and organizations are obliged to set up internal reporting offices. Violations can then be reported via these.

// What is an internal reporting office?

Persons associated with the organization can report violations to an internal reporting office. This can be done by post, telephone, letter, digitally or in person. The reports are then initially processed internally on a confidential basis.
